Janet Cook, owner of An English Touch Day Spa, was born in Birmingham, England. After she was finished with school at the age of 15, she attended a 7 year apprenticeship in hair, nails, skin, and body treatments. After the apprenticeship, Janet opened a beauty studio and continued furthering her skills in Italy and  France, covering micro-pigmentation, body contouring wraps, massages, facials, cosmetics, waxing, and electrolysis. 

In 2002, Janet immigrated to Sidney, MT, where she married her husband, Donald, who is a retired veteran. In Montana, Janet opened a spa that she ran for 10 years. In 2015, her and her husband moved to Custer, SD, were she opened another spa in the lower level of her home. In 2025, they made the move to their current residency, Gillette, WY. In the lower level of their home, Janet exercises her passion to make women feel good from the inside out through her spa, An English Touch Day Spa. Janet prides herself in always staying up to date with the latest equipment and best natural products on the market.
